摘　　要：记述了蝶角蛉科原完眼蝶角蛉属 1新种 :狭翅完眼蝶角蛉Protidricerussteropterussp .nov .,标本采自河南省嵩山县白云山。模式标本保存在中国农业大学昆虫标本室。The present paper deals with 1 new species of Holophthalminae of Ascalaphidae from Henan Province of China.This is the first report of Ascalaphidae in this province.The type specimen is deposited in the Insect Collections of China Agricultural University.Protidricerus steropterus sp.nov. (Figs. 1,2) Body length 32*!mm,expanse 88*!mm,forewing length 42*!mm,hindwing length 36*!mm.Eyes black without transverse furrow.Mouth parts and genae yellow with long white hairs.Frons,vertex and postocciput black,with long grey and black hairs.Antennae short,little longer than 1/2 forewing length.Thorax black with dark grey hairs.Pleura with a yellow spot near the base of forewings.Legs black.Wings hyaline and narrow,anal angle of forewings distinct.Apical fields of wings with cells in 3 rows.Pterostigma short and dark brown.Rs firlds with 6 rows of cells.Cu2 distinct and Cu fields with cells in 4-5 rows in forewing.Cu2 indistinct and Cu fields cell in 2 or 3 rows in hindwings.Abdomen black and shorter than length of hindwings.Holotype ♀,paratype 1 specimen (the end part of abdomen broken),Baiyun Mountain in Songxian County of Henan Prov.,19 July 1996,CAI Wan-Zhi.This new species is similar to Protidricerus japonicus(Mac Lachlan),but differs from the latter in having less cells at Cu fields in hindwings,and Cu2 without crossvien in forewing.
