摘　　要：在根雕艺术的创新及艺术特色方面,艺术家应在深入领会中国传统审美意境的丰富性上下功夫,这是根雕艺术发展的明智选择。自古至今,从审美趋势上看,根雕艺术发展轨迹是沿着由繁到简,从再现到表现,从写实到抽象,从重技艺到重观念的方式,由此演化而来。As for the artistic characteristics and innovative aspects of tree root carving art,artist should focus on the appreciation of richness of the Chinese traditional aesthetical atmosphere,this is a wise choice of the development of the tree root carving art. Since ancient times,from the study of aesthetical tendency,the developmental path of tree root carving art was from simple to complex,from representation to representation,from realism to abstraction,from a focus on technology to a focus on conception,thus evolved.
