摘　　要：广学会是西方传教士在华创办的具有重要影响的教育团体,它主要依靠出版报刊、图书、创办学会等方式影响中国的知识阶层。广学会发行了众多历史类的图书,这些图书涉及世界通史、国别史、当代史、人物传记等方面。《泰西新史揽要》和《中东战纪本末》是其中的代表。这些书中所蕴含的世界史观、进化史观、国家观念,阐发的变法改制思想、世界各国快速发展的动态等内容,成为刺激和鼓舞中国知识阶层的"思想资源"。The Christian Literature Society for China was an important education group which was founded in China by Western missionaries. It had effect on Chinese educated class by the publication of magazines,newspapers and books. In order to meet the needs of the society of the late Qing Dynasty,the Christian Literature Society for China issued numerous publications,of which many are the history books.These history books relate to the world history,the national history,the contemporary history,biographies etc. The Nineteenth Century： A History and The History of Sino-Japanese War are the representative. With these books,the world historical view,the view of evolutionary history,the concept of state,the thoughts of political reform,the information about rapid development around the world were brought in and stimulated the Chinese intelligentsia.
