摘　　要：新型城镇化是引领中国农村社区建设的重要引擎,农村社区建设是统筹城乡发展的重要抓手。农村社区建设与新型城镇化建设之间是相辅相成、相互促进,新型城镇化进程中农村社区建设具有如下功能:农村社区建设有助于推进工业化、信息化、城镇化、农业现代化同步发展,农村社区建设有助于加速新农村建设的进程,农村社区建设有助于实现和维护农民的切身权益,农村社区建设有助于拓宽就业渠道促进社会和谐。New type of urbanization is the leading in China′s rural community construction,rural community construction is the key of urban and rural development.Rural community construction and new urbanization construction supplement each other,promote each other.A new type of rural community construction in urbanization has the following functions：promoting industrialization informatization,urbanization,agricultural modernization,accelerating the process of new countryside construction,implementing and maintaining the rights and interests of farmers,broadening employment channels and promoting social harmony.
