摘　　要：纳张元是云南少数民族作家中为数不多的能以理性反思精神来进行民族自我审视的作家之一。他的创作属于典型的"启蒙乡土小说",在他的作品中,始终贯穿着清醒的民族自省意识和批判精神,一方面是对少数民族痼弊的审视和批判,另一方面是对传统与现代、落后与文明两种对立文化形态的表现及思考。这种精神特质决定了纳张元的作品具有比一般少数民族文学作品更深广的内涵与更重要的意义。Na Zhangyuan is one of a few rationally self-reflective ethnic writers of Yunnan province.His creative works fall into the category of＂Enlightenment Rural Novels＂,in which a clear self-reflective awareness and critical spirit.On one hand, he examines critically the deep-rooted undesirable customs of the ethnic minority. One the other hand, he expressed and reflects the two contrasting cultures between the traditional and the modern, the backward and the civilized. This kind of spiritual essence showcases in his works more profound connotations and more significant comparing with the general minority literature.
