摘　　要：与公共图书馆流通部相比,高校图书馆古籍部有其特殊性,古籍管理员的职责因而有所不同。激发并保护读者热爱传统文化的热情,做好古籍的保护和利用工作,是高校图书馆古籍管理员的主要职责。Compared with the circulation department of public library, the ancient books department of university library has its particularity, so the duty of the ancient books administrator in university library is different. How to stimulate and protect readers＇ enthusiasm of loving the traditional culture, and how to make good protection and utilization of ancient books are the main duties of the ancient books administrators in university library.
