摘　　要：动物外科实验是外科临床实习及从事外科临床工作的基础,医学留学生是有别于我国医学生的新兴群体,提高留学生的教学质量是高等院校面临的关键问题之一,是教育水平国际化的重要指标,有利于提升高校国际影响力和世界知名度。一方面,教师应根据留学生的特点因材施教,规范实验内容,提高自我素质,精心课前准备,充分运用互联网技术,课后及时随访,努力提高教学质量;另一方面,规范教材,平衡好教师的付出与回报,可为留学生动物外科实验可持续发展奠定坚实的基础。Surgical animal experiment is the cornerstone for surgical internship and further surgical clinical practice.As an emerging group, medical international students are different from those of indigenous medical students. How to improve teaching quality for them is a key issue faced by medical colleges and an important indicator for their global education level, and is also beneficial to enhance their international influence and reputation in the world. On the one hand, teachers should teach international students in accordance with their aptitude, standardize teaching contents, improve their self-quality, prepare carefully ahead of class, make full use of internet technologies and follow up students timely, all of which contribute to improve the teaching quality. On the other hand, standardizing text books, balancing teachers＇ effort and reward rationally can lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of surgical animal experiment teaching.
