摘 要:BIM(Building Information Modelling)及其相关技术在工程中的应用已越来越多,工程界对其应用价值的认识也不尽相同。本文从四个角度对BIM技术的内涵进行诠释,BIM既是一种复杂的多维数据信息模型,又是集成现有多种技术的综合体,比如其支持协同工作、信息集成、可视化分析等技术。工程的设计和施工阶段是BIM的主要应用领域,分别对其支持的信息共享与协同、设计与施工阶段的价值进行分析。通过对BIM的内涵诠释和应用价值分析,为行业内提升对该种技术的认识和应用水平提供一定参考。Although BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its related technologies are used very common in the engineering field, there are different opinions on its application values. The connotation of BIM is explained from four aspects in the paper, and it is concluded that BIM is a complex multidimensional data models, as well as a synthesis which integrating the existing techniques such as collaborative work, information integration, visualization analysis and so on. The design and construction phase for engineering is the main application field of the BIM, thus the values of BIM used for this field are analyzed. Some proposals are provided from the paper for the engineering industry to enhance the understanding level of the BIM by analyzing its connotation and application values.
