摘　　要：敷贴法是将中药方剂制成散剂、膏剂或巴布剂,直接敷贴于患处的方法,通过药物渗透入体内,达到补肝肾、强筋骨、祛风湿、舒经活络、活血祛淤的效果,靶向性好,敷贴法作为中医外治的主要方式之一,在治疗膝骨关节炎(KOA)临床应用方面作用甚广。该文通过对近年来新型外用敷贴制剂治疗KOA的研究现状及相关文献进行分析、总结,从发病现状、中医外治意义、常见新剂型及其临床研究、作用机制研究等方面加以阐述,探讨中医外治治疗KOA的作用机制。External application method is to make traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） prescriptions into powder, ointment or poultice, to be directly applied on the affected area of patients, then the drug penetrates into the body, reaching to liver or kidney playing the effects of strengthening bones and muscles, dispelling rheumatism, activating collateral channels and removing blood stasis with good target effect. As one of the main ways on the external TCM application,it has wide clinical application in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis（KOA）. Here is to analyze and summarize the relevant literatures and present researches on the new external application preparations for the treatment of KOA, in order to discuss the mechanism of action of TCM external application preparations for treatment of KOA, from the following facts：the disease status, the significance of external TCM application, the common new preparations and the clinical studies.
