摘　　要：作为获得诺贝尔文学奖的第一位黑人女作家,托尼·莫里森在美国主流文学中占有非常重要的地位。她的作品不仅表现黑人女性寻求独立的自主精神,也传承黑人群体所固有的传统文化和价值观。《所罗门之歌》就是一部有关黑人男性摆脱他者地位、构建自我身份、寻找自我价值的小说。该书讲述了主人公奶人,由迷失自我、对周围人漠不关心、遗忘历史到清醒刚强、独自南下寻找祖先根源、领悟传统文化和祖先理想的转变过程,凸显了自我身份的构建与社会认同的密切关系。Toni Morrison,the first female African American writer,Nobel Prize Winner for Literature,enjoys a very important position in the mainstream American literature. Her writings not only represent the spirit of the black female＇s pursuit of self-reliance,but also inherit the innate traditional culture and values of the black community.Song of Solomon is a novel that relates how a black male has shaken off the shackles of status of the other,established self-identity,and looked for self-values. This novel tells the story of Milkman who becomes clear-headed and strong-willed from one who got lost,forgot his race＇s history and was indifferent to those around. Therefore,he alone comes to the south to seek the roots of his ancestors and comprehend their traditional culture and their ideals.This process of change indicates that identity construction is closely connected with social recognition.
