摘　　要：数据库系统作为信息系统中的基础软件,其重要性不言而喻。选取一个合适的数据库系统会使整个系统的开发和维护变得更加容易。为了帮助开发人员更好地选择一个RDBMS,探讨最经常用到、流行的关系数据库管理系统(RDBMS)的特性和功能性方面的根本不同之处。As the infrastructure software of information systems, the importance of the database system is self-evident. Toselect a suitable database system will make the development and maintenance of the entire system be more easier.We will explore fundamental differences of the most commonly used and popular relational database management systems（RDBMS） in features and functionality, in order to help developers with choosing a RDBMS.
