话语态度与主权建构——以中菲南海争端中国外交部发言人话语为例

摘　　要：本研究以评价理论为框架,定性分析2012年1月至2013年7月之间中国外交部发言人针对中菲南海争端的答记者问话语中态度的使用特点及原因。研究发现:发言人的态度涉及对主权归属、中菲两方行为的性质和事物性质的评判,对事物价值、菲方行为后果和反应的鉴别以及对菲方侵权行为、菲方言论和中菲两方处理争端的态度与方式的情感表达。这些发现充分表明了语言在国家主权维护中的关键作用。With the Appraisal Theory as the framework, the present study qualitatively analyzes the fea-tures and reasons of the attitude in the discourse of the spokesmen of the Ministry of Foreithey responded to the reporters at the press conferences about questions on the Philippines ingn Affairs whenthe South ChinaSea dispute from January of 2012 to July of 2013.It finds that the spokesmen＇s attitude included judgement,appreciation and affect.The judgement involves the sovereignty of the South China Sea and the nature of boththe two sides＇ behaviors and the related things. The appreciation concernes the value of things, the conse-quences of the Philippines＇ behaviors and its reactions.The affect is expressed towards the Philippines＇ vio-lation of sovereignty ,the Philippines＇ words as well as the way of the two sides＇ handling the dispute.Thesefindings fully show the fundamental role that language plays in the maintenance of national sovereignty
