摘　　要：当前,社会学学科发展正处于从"量"的积累到"质"的提升过程中的关键时期,因为社会发展阶段、学科发展阶段、学科本身特点等原因的限制,社会学也在一定程度上面临庸俗化的风险。社会学工作者需正视其学科特质,明确其学科优势和学科局限,把握经验材料与理论抽象的不可偏废。在与现代社会对话过程发展的同时,为社会建设和社会发展服务。同时,本着高度的知识分子自觉和学科自觉,对不利于学科发展的一些倾向加以防范,正确对待社会学研究的中西方传统,方能促使社会学走向更好发展。The development of sociology is in a critical period in the process of upgrading from the accu -mulation of“quantity” to“quality” currently .Due to the limitation of social development stage , academic de-velopment stage and subject characteristics , to some extent , the development of sociology also faces risk of vul-garization .Sociologists need to face up to its subject characteristics , clarify its subject advantages and disci-pline limitation, and properly handle both the empirical material and theoretical abstraction to develop sociolo-gy in the dialogue with the modern society , and also make contribution to the social construction and social de-velopment .At the same time , in line with strong intellectuals consciousness and subject consciousness , sociol-ogists should go against the development of the discipline of some adverse tendency , treat correctly the Chinese and western tradition in the study of sociology so as to promote the sociology discipline .
