摘　　要：煤矿城市不仅中国有,外国也有,一些外国的煤矿城市发展历史比中国的更长。研究外国煤矿城市的兴起、发展与转型,可以为中国煤矿城市的发展与转型提供有益的借鉴。对外国煤矿城市发展经验和理念进行梳理与研究,不仅有助于中国煤矿城市发展少走弯路,而且能够促使中国的煤矿城市发展在外国煤矿城市发展的基础上走出新路。这种学习和借鉴,有益于中国的煤矿城市转型,同时对其它资源型城市的发展和转型也能产生积极的作用和影响。Coal cities exist not only in China , but also in foreign countries .Some foreign coal cities witness longer development history than that of China .Studies on the rising , development and transformation of these foreign coal cities can provide the beneficial suggestions for the development and transformation of the coal cities in China .Specifically , combing and researching on the development experience and ideas of foreign coal cities would help some of Chinese coal mining cities get out of their predicament .It can produce positive effects and influence on the development and transformation of the cities rich in other resources as well .
