R&D Capability, Technology Introduction and Innovation Performance——Based on the Empirical Analysis of Provincial Dynamic Panel Data Model

摘  要:运用我国1998~2011年28个省市区高技术产业的面板数据,构建动态面板数据模型,并运用GMM估计方法,实证研究了我国高技术产业R&D能力、技术引进与创新绩效的关系。研究结果表明:全国总体而言,高技术产业R&D能力与技术引进对创新绩效具有显著的正向影响,但R&D能力对创新绩效的影响强于技术引进;技术引进与创新绩效呈显著的"U"型关系,且大部分省份位于拐点右侧;R&D能力对技术引进与创新绩效的关系具有显著的调节效应,技术引进对创新绩效的影响随R&D能力发生变化。分地区来看,技术引进对创新绩效的影响及R&D能力对技术引进与创新绩效关系的调节效应存在显著的地区差异,而R&D能力对创新绩效的影响不存在显著的地区差异。Based on panel data from high-tech industries in Chinese 28 provinces during 1998-2011, this study examines the relationship between R&D capabilities, technology introduction and innovation performance of the high-teeh industry in China. The empirical results indicate that there is a significant positive effect of R&D capability and technology introduction on innovation performance of the high-tech industry in China, but the impact of R&D capability on innovation performance is stronger than the technology introduction; there is a "U" shaped relationship between technology introduction and innovation performance, and most of the provinces are on the right of inflection point; R&D capability has a moderating effect on the relationship between technology introduc- tion and innovation performance, the impact of technology introduction on innovation performance will change with the R&D capabili- ty. There are significant regional differences in both the impact of technology introduction on innovation performance and the moderating effect of R&D capability.
