摘　　要：探讨Windows XP替代方案,借鉴嵌入式系统实现方式,个性化定制系统内核等组件和应用软件,减少硬件资源占用,提高运行效率,保障系统流畅,同时确保用户使用安全性。Generally speaking, when we upgrade new kernel of OS for the low performance equipment, there will be all kinds of problems, such as low speed of running. But in order to continue enjoying the technical services of big companies or organizations such as Microsoft,this article makes a research for it. Using the experience of embedded system developing, we cut some modules of OS which is unnecessary, and install light-wight applications. Then we find the new image and ap- plications run more smoothly and safly on our low-performance PC.
