摘　　要：苦马豆为豆科苦马豆属(Sphaerophysa salsula)植物,放牧牲畜在采食苦马豆属植物后发生广泛的中毒死亡。该属植物在世界范围内分布广泛,我国有苦马豆一种。苦马豆引起动物中毒死亡的主要原因还未真正明确,但其中毒症状与疯草中毒症状非常类似。文章主要从苦马豆生物学特征、毒理学研究及苦马豆生物碱研究等方面进行概述。Sphaerophysa salsula is a plant that belongs to the genus Swainsona in the legume family, widespread poisoning deaths occur in grazing livestock after feeding the plants from the genus Swainsona. This genus is widely distributed in the world, and there is one kind of Sphaerophysa salsula in China. The main reason that Sphaerophysa salsula causes poisoning deaths in animals is not yet really clear, but the poisoning symptoms are very similar to the symptoms of poisoning caused by locoweed. This paper mainly summarizes the biological characteristics and toxicological studies for Sphaerophysa salsula, and the research of alkaloids from Sphaerophysa salsula, and so on.
