摘　　要：公共文化服务示范区活动是发展中西部图书馆事业提高其服务水平的重要契机,中西部图书馆应积极参与示范区活动,在创建活动中注意吸取东部经济发达地区图书馆近年来创建的区域图书馆整体协同发展的经验,注重中心图书馆的重要组织作用,积极建立区域图书馆文献信息资源体系,合理利用现代信息和网络技术以增强自身的服务能力。This paper thinks that activities of public cultural service demonstration area are important chances to improve the service level and to develop the Midwest libraries .The Midwest libraries should actively participate in the activities of public cultural service demonstration area , absorb experience that libraries of the eastern developed area create the coordinated development of regional libraries in recent years , pay attention to the important organization function of central library , actively establish the re-gional system of library literature information resources and use the modern information and network technology to enhance the serv-ice capability.
