摘　　要：湖北省地处中强地震活动的华中地区,具备发生中等强度破坏性地震的条件和背景。从调查近十年来湖北省发生的破坏性地震实例入手,对8次M4级以上地震发生地区的农村民居房屋结构及建筑物震害特征和损失情况进行了统计分析。结果表明,农居房屋震害以土木结构最重,其次是砖木结构,砖混结构震害最轻;不管是在平原、丘陵,还是在山区,同级别地震造成的农居损失差异并不大,农居房屋抗震能力较差,不设防或设防标准低的现象仍然普遍存在。最后,探讨了针对湖北农村地区民居的震害防御对策,以期能在减轻农村地区地震灾害方面有所裨益。Hubei province is located in the relatively weak earthquake area in central China. There is condition and background to occur moderate destructive earthquake. The building of the brickconcrete structure is the main types of rural residence in rural areas in Hubei province, there are also a significant proportion of actobe and timber structures and brick structures, so that actobe and timber structure is the main type of rural residential housing in the mountain area. For a long time, the farmers have not strong awareness about protecting against and mitigating earthquake disasters. The earthquake resistant capacity of the rural residence is generally poor. Based on the investigation of the destructive earthquake event in Hubei province in the last ten years, this paper analyzes the damage characteristics and damage loss situation of rural buildings caused by eight times of M≥4 earthquake. It is found that the earthquake damage to actobe and timber structure housing are heaviest, the brick structure is the second, the earthquake damage of brickconcrete structure is slightly in the rural residence. At the same time, It is also found that the damage loss of rural residence, caused by the earthquake of same strength level, has not significant difference in both the plain, hill, or in the mountain. The study shows, the seismic ability of rural building is poorer, the phenomenon of unprotected or the low standard of fortification against earthquake is still common. Finally, this paper discusses the defense countermeasure of earthquake disaster in the rural resident project, in order to help in reducing earthquake disasters in the rural areas of Hubei province.
