Effects of Compound Chinese Herbal Medicine Mixtures on Growth Performance and Antioxidant Activities in Broilers Under Heat Stress

摘  要:为了研究复方中药合剂对肉仔鸡热应激下生产性能和抗氧化活性的影响。采用单因子随机分组设计,选取240只健康AA雄性肉仔鸡随机分成4组,每组5个重复,对照组正常饮水,试验1、2、3组在饮水中分别加入0.5%、1.0%、1.5%的复方中药合剂,试验期5周。结果表明,与对照组相比,试验前期,各组的生产性能无显著性差异(P>0.05);试验后期,试验1、2组的平均日增重(ADG)、平均日采食量(ADFI)和饲料转化率(FCR)均显著提高(P<0.05)。试验2、3组均能极显著提高肉仔鸡血清、肝脏和肌肉中SOD活性(P<0.01),极显著或显著提高血清、肝脏中的GSH-Px活性(P<0.01或P<0.05),极显著降低血清和肝脏中的MDA水平(P<0.01)。说明复方中药合剂可提高热应激下肉仔鸡的生长性能,提高机体抗氧化水平。In order to study the effects of Chinese herbal medicine compound mixtures on growth performance and antioxidant activities in broilers under heat stress, 240 healthy male chickens broilers at the age of 7 day old were selected, and randomly divided into 4 groups.Each group had 5 repeating groups.The control group was watered normally, and the experimental groups were watered with 0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5% the Chinese herbal medicine compound mixtures, respectively.The trial lasted 5 weeks. The results showed that growth performance did not differ among treatment groups during the starter period (P〉 0.05).In the finisher phase, ADG, ADFI and FCR of the experimental groups 1 and 2 were significantly higher than the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ). in the compared with the control, SOD activity in serum, liver and muscle increased very significantly (P〈 0.01 ), GSH-Px activity in serum and liver increased significantly( P〈 0.01 或 P〈 0.05 )and MDA content in serum and liver decreased significantly( P〈 0.01 ). in the experimental groups 2 and 3 compared with the contron . These results imply that the Chinese herbal medicine mixtures could enhance growth performance and improve the anti-oxidant lever in broilers under heat stress.
