摘　　要：档案是城市文化的重要组成部分,它承载城市记忆,沉淀城市优秀文化,推动城市文化传承和发展,因此探讨城市档案与文化的互动发展具有重要的学术价值。我国有关城市档案与文化的互动发展的研究内容主要包括:城市档案的基本特征、城市档案的文化价值、城市档案的发展、城市档案与文化关系等。但这些研究忽视了人的档案对城市文化建设、档案的文化休闲功能、档案其他服务功能拓展等方面的探索。为此,今后要进一步加强对城市档案的文化功能和基于城市文化功能的档案发展定位的研究。As an essential component of city cultures, city archives carry the city memories, deposit excellent city cultures and promote the transmission and development of city cultures. Thus it is of great academic value to explore the interactional development between city archives and city cultures. Present research in China on the interactional development between city archives and city cultures mainly include the following aspects： the basic characteristics of city archives, the cultural value and development of city archives, the relationship between city archives and city cultures, which, however, have ignored the explorations of people archives from perspectives of their impact on city cultural construction, their cultural and recreational functions as well as the extension to other service fuctions. Therefore, more research should be focused on the cultural functions of city archives and the developmental orientation of city archives based on their cultural functions.
