摘　　要：责任编辑是整个出版活动的主体,在整个出版活动中承担着重要的角色。高校学报编辑的职责和任务安排是否合理,直接影响着编辑部的正常运行和学报质量。厘清编辑的职责,有利于在实际工作中制定科学的流程和方法,有利于编辑在工作实践中有意识地培养自己各方面的能力,从而扮演好编辑在实际工作中所承担的多重角色,更好地发挥职业"把关人"的作用。Editor is the subject in the whole publishing activities, who plays a significant role.The ar-rangement of editorial responsibilities and tasks directly affects the normal operation of editorial department and the quality of college journal.The main duties of editor for college journal are content planning,topic se-lection,manuscript organization,peer review,word processing and proofreading,etc.Clarifying the responsi-bilities of the editor can help the supervisor to draw up a scientific processes and methods in practical work, and help editors to train all aspects of their ability in order to accomplish the above-mentioned duties and be a professional “Gatekeeper” in practice.
