摘  要:针对传统数值方法在非规则波导的数值计算中存在边界处理复杂、计算效率低等问题,提出了一种高效分析非规则波导传输特性的坐标变换法。首先根据变换函数,将非规则截面区域映射为一个简单的规则截面区域,为保证变换前后Maxwell方程组满足形式不变性,变换后的规则截面区域需填充适当的各向异性媒质,媒质参数由Jacobian变换矩阵确定,由此将非规则截面波导转化为一个与其等效的规则截面波导;其次借助有限元法对简单的等效规则波导进行求解,可有效降低边界处理算法的复杂度和剖分网格密度,提高数值计算效率。对椭圆波导和矩形脊波导的计算结果表明,使用该方法能够在保证足够计算精度的同时,节省计算资源达50%以上。A coordinate transformation method is introduced to effectively solve the problems of traditional methods in the numerical simulation of irregular waveguides.According to the forminvariance property of Maxwell's equations under coordinate transformations,the coordinate transformation can be realized by means of an equivalent anisotropic medium whose constitutive parameters are obtained from the Jacobian tensor of the coordinate transformation.By employing the proposed method,an irregular waveguide can be transformed into another regular waveguide filled with appropriate anisotropic medium without changing its propagation characteristics.Thus,the analysis to an irregular waveguides can be replaced with the analysis to the transformed regular waveguides with easy numerical implementation.The proposed technique can largely reduce the complexity of the boundary processing algorithms and the number of unknowns,hence effectively enhances the computational performance.Simulation results on an elliptical waveguide and a ridged rectangular waveguide show that the proposed method can ensure enough calculation accuracy and reduce computing resources by about 50%.
