摘　　要：地理要素对象标识是空间信息系统的重要组成部分。文中对地理要素对象标识的概念进行阐述,对其性质、类型及生成方法进行分析与总结。在此基础之上提出一种基于基本比例尺地形图分幅和地理要素分类代码的地理要素对象标识,深入分析该对象标识的特性及功能特点,并对其在基础地理空间数据增量更新中的应用进行探讨。Geographic feature object identifier （GFOID） is an important component of spatial information system. The related definition, property, types and generation methods of GFOID are analyzed and summarized. Thus, a geographic feature object identifier based on map subdivision and feature classification codes or GFOID-MSFCC, is put forward. Then the GFOID-MSFCC＇s features and functions are explored in details. Finally, the application of GFOID-MSFCC to the fundamental geographic information change-only update is also discussed.
