莆田观察里第旧宅藏明清科考墨卷的文献价值

摘　　要：近年在福建莆田市观察里第旧宅发现一批明清科考墨卷,计5000多件。这批墨卷的收藏整理并非出自一时一人之手,而成之于观察里第的历代主人。今天我们看到的,是由观察里第最后的主人之一林祖藻先生整理的119卷本,定名为《明清科考墨卷集》。这批墨卷起于明洪武,止于清季,既有会试、乡试的试卷,还有道、府、县以及国子监、各级书院的季课、月课、馆课试卷,其地域则涵盖中国十八个省市。这批明清科考墨卷具有很髙的文献价值,我们可以以这批墨卷为基础,编订一部明清科考墨卷书目。这批墨卷还是集佚的渊薮,许多作家,包括名家的佚文赖其保存才得以流传至今。墨卷都有评语,如果把所有评语汇集成册,就是一部制义文话。墨卷中约有1/8为抄件,尤其珍贵,抄件中有部分可能出自收藏者之手。Recently a batch of imperial examination documents of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, totally more than 5000 pieces, has been found in the old house of Guan Cha Li Di in Putian City, Fujian Province. These documents were collected by the hosts of this old house for generations, the dates of these documents are from as early as the beginning of Ming Dynasty, to the later Qing Dynasty. There are examination papers of county level and provincial level examinations, as well as teaching materials of different level schools in different periods. The regional coverage of these documents covers 18 province of China. These documents are very valuable in research on the history of imperial examination. It is also a resource for collecting scattered manu- scripts, because we can find many articles written by famous literati or scholars among them. 1/8 of these texts are hand - written, majority of them has remarks and comments, which are also very valuable.
