摘　　要：网络技术的发展以及教育信息化的推进使远程教育在理论教育方面取得了长足的发展,然而,与之配套的远程实验因其所具有的实践性,成为远程教育发展的"瓶颈"。在网络环境下构建虚拟实验室为远程学习者提供交互的虚拟实验学习环境成为远程教育研究的热点。本文从虚拟实验室的概念入手,研究了虚拟实验室的分类,分析了实现虚拟实验室的关键技术,在深入研究虚拟实验室特点的基础上,探讨其在远程教育中的应用前景。The development of network technology and education information enables great progress of educational theories of remote education. However, the relevant remote experiments have become a “bottleneck” for the development of distance education due to its practicality. How to create an interactive virtual experiment environment for the distance learners becomes a focus of distance education. Based on the concepts of virtual laboratory, the classification of virtual lab is studied. The key technology to realize the virtual laboratory is analyzed. On the basis of in-depth study on the characteristics of virtual laboratory, its applications in distance education are explored.
