摘　　要：本文主要围绕早期楚文化问题进行论述,先从楚国的历史发展明确了早期楚文化的概念,再从楚国早期活动中心"丹阳"地望的考证与考古学的探索相结合提出了探索早期楚文化的思路,另外从传世文献与出土文献相结合论述了探索楚族渊源问题。The present paper deals mainly with the early Chu Culture. First of all, it clarifies the concept of the early Chu Culture by tracing the historical development of the Chu State. Then it makes documentary and archaeological inquiries to determine the location of ＇＂ Danyang,＂ the early Chu State＇ s activity center; and on this basis it puts forward the researching direction of the early Chu Culture. Moreover, it discusses the origins of the Chu Nationality by analyzing handed down and unearthed documents.
