摘　　要：为了使公共体育游泳选修课更好的在我校开展,本文针对公共体育游泳选修课的学生以及任课教师进行了调查。新时期面对新课程的改革形势,高校公共体育游泳课也面临新的机遇与挑战。因此我们应更新思想、转变观念,确立"终身化、民主化、个性化"的新型体育思想观。对学生终身体育打下良好的基础,为高校公共体育游泳选修课更好的开展和普及提供一些参考。The author finds that students of Baotou Teachers College are interested in the swimming course, In order to improve the implementation of the swimming course, in this paper, students and teacher of the swimming course were investigated. In the face of the new curriculum reform situation, college pubic optional swimming course also face new opportunities and challenges, so we should update ideas, change concept and establish ＂lifelong, democratization, characteristic＂ new concept of sport ideology. To lay a good foundation for the students＇ life - long sports, this paper tries to provide some references for the development and popularization of the public optional course of swimming.
