摘  要:中国目前虽然还处在农业、工业与后工业错综叠加的发展阶段,但大众文化、消费文化在现代传媒的反复渲染和不断放大中,正迅速成为广大青少年群体的共同诉求。中国70、80后青年艺术家深受日、韩、美等国大众文化、消费文化,尤其是游戏动漫、卡通文化影响,于1990年代中期也出现了"卡通一代"和当下仍然十分流行的"新卡通一代"艺术现象,呈现了中国大都市青年的生存状态和生存境遇,表达了不同于传统社会的价值观和审美观。Though China is still in a development phase overlapped with agriculture, industry and post -industry, consumption culture has been the general aspiration for teenagers under the repetitive exaggeration and promotion of mass culture and consumption culture. These young artists born around 1970s and 1980s were deeply influenced by those cultures from Japan, Korea and USA, especially that of anime and cartoon culture. In the middle of 1990s, there also emerged a " cartoon generation". And the artistic phenomenon of "New cartoon generation" that is quite popular in contemporary time represents the living conditions and experiences of Chinese urban youths and indicates values and aesthetics that are different from the traditional ones.
