英语辞书编纂中的全球化视角

摘　　要：随着国际英语以及各种新变体的形成,英语的单一性标准和规范受到质疑,多元标准和多中心论正为越来越多的人们所接受。文章试图通过呈现全球化视角对世界范围内英语辞书编纂的影响,探讨其对我国英语辞书编纂进一步发展带来的启示。我们认为我国辞书工作者应该在英汉双语词典编纂中破除"标准英语"和"单一文化中心"的迷思,借鉴其他国家纸质词典,尤其是网络词典在呈现英语全球化特征方面的成果,积极探索词典编纂中英语全球化和本土化相结合的道路,更好地为使用者服务。The globalization of English has posed a great challenge to the nativization of the English language and culture. With the formation of new variants,the monolithic approach and normativity of native English are questioned,and plurality and variability of English are increasingly accepted. This paper explores the impact English globalization has on English dictionaries worldwide and the inspiration this provides to Chinese dictionary makers. It proposes that the myth of 'standard English'should be broken so that more user-oriented English dictionaries featuring both globalization and localization can be made in China.
