近代中国教会大学体育活动的历史作用及启示

摘　　要：中国教会大学在主客观因素的共同影响下,十分重视学校的体育发展,成为同时期其他学校模仿学习的典范。尽管中国教会大学只在大陆存在半个多世纪,但是其在增强学生体质、培养体育精神、发展中国女子体育运动、加强体育交流等方面做出了重要贡献,促进了中国旧思想的转变,推动了中国体育事业的发展。我国当今的大学体育要以史为鉴,从教会大学中汲取经验,把中国的未来与体育锻炼联系起来,使中华民族伟大复兴的共同向往变为锻炼身体的动力;正确认识体育的重要作用,提高执行力;重视学生的身体状况,把卫生教育与体育结合起来;大力开发体育的德育功能,注重体育的陶冶情操作用。Under the combined influence of subjective and objective factors, Chinese Christian universities valued university sports development dearly, had become a role model for other universities in the same period to learn from by imitation. Although Chinese Christian universities existed in China's Mainland for only half a century or longer, it made important contributions to such aspects as enhancing student fitness, cultivating sports spirit, devel-oping Chinese women’s sports, strengthening sports communication etc, promoted the changing of Chinese old ide-ologies, and boosted the development of China’s sports undertaking. For the development of university sports in China today, we should learn from history and the experiences of Christian universities, connect the future of China to physical exercise, turn the Chinese nation’s dream about a great renaissance into the power for physical exercise, correctly understand important roles played by sports, boost the power of execution, pay attention to students’ physical conditions, combine sanitation education with sports, vigorously develop the moral functions of sports, and value the sentiment cultivation function of sports.
