摘　　要：介绍了滇南古建瓦当的起源与发展历程,对瓦当装饰的类型及分布地点进行了阐述,分析了寿字纹瓦当、虫兽纹瓦当、植物纹瓦当及抽象纹瓦当的图案寓意,见证了古滇南地区人与自然和谐发展的历史轨迹。The paper introduces the origins and development of eaves tiles adornment in the south of Yunnan ancient building, illustrates the types and distribution of the eaves tiles adornment, analyzes the implied meanings of those tiles with lines of long lifespan, animal life, plants and abstract patterns, and proves the historical traces of harmonious development between human being and nature at the area.
