回指词在新闻语篇中的评价功能——以社论为例

摘　　要：回指词作为一种常见的语言现象,已被学者从句法、认知、语用等各方面进行过研究,但少见对其评价功能的研究。本文以评价系统为框架,从《纽约时报》和《中国日报》两大英语新闻报纸中选取40篇社论对其进行定性定量分析,从而解读这一类新闻语篇中回指词是如何实现其评价功能的。As a common linguistic phenomenon,anaphor has been studied by many scholars from different perspectives including syntax,cognition and pragmatics.However,the study of evaluative functions on anaphor is rare.Based on Appraisal System,this paper attempts to conduct a qualitative and quantitative analysis on forty editorials from New York Times and China Daily and show how the anaphor realizes its evaluative functions in this kind of news text.
