Preliminary Study of the Coordination of Population Urbanization and Land Urbanization in the Underdeveloped Area-A Case of Meizhou City

摘  要:借用经济学中的弹性概念和规模经济原理,用城镇人口增长土地弹性来分析1990~2012年间梅州市人口城镇化与土地城镇化协调问题.研究以五年为一个阶段,将研究分为5个时间段.研究发现,前四个阶段即1990~2010年间,梅州城镇人口和城镇土地规模都在增加,但是城镇人口增长土地弹性均小于100%,说明人口城镇化与土地城镇化处于相对协调阶段.2010~2012年间,城镇人口增长土地弹性为462.63%,说明人口城镇化与土地城镇化处于协调阶段.最后分析了影响人口城镇化与土地城镇化协调的自然因素、经济因素、城市化因素和政策因素.由于人口城镇化和土地城镇化的相互作用机制复杂,还需对两者的关系进行深入研究.Borrowing the concept of elasticity and the theory of scale economy of economics,the problem of the coordination of demographic urbanization and land urbanization of Meizhou City during 1990 ~ 2010 was researched with the index of the land elasticity of Urban population growth.The whole research period was divided into 5 stages with 5 years as a stage.It was concluded that the urban population and the urban land in Meizhou City had both Increased during 1990 ~ 2010,but the value of the land elasticity of Urban population growth less than 100% showed that population urbanization and land urbanization was in the relative coordination stage.The value of the land elasticity of urban population was 462.63% during 2010 ~ 2012 showed that population urbanization and land urbanization was in the coordination stage.The factors effecting the coordination of the population urbanization and the land urbanization in Meizhou City were analyzed including natural factor,economic factor,urbanization and policy.Because of the complexity of the mechanism effecting the interaction of population urbanization and land urbanization,further study is necessary to deeply understand the relation of both sides.
