摘 要:郑振铎是20世纪较早涉足古典戏曲研究的文学史家,尽管未曾撰写过专门的戏曲史著作,却是戏曲通史的初次审视者与总体链接者。他的戏曲史著述主要见诸《文学大纲》、《插图本中国文学史》。在这两部著作里,郑振铎对中国古代戏曲的起源、形成、发展、繁荣以至衰落进行了比较全面、深入的观照和阐释,描述和勾勒了中国古代戏曲演变的基本轨迹与大致轮廓。郑振铎的戏曲史著述十分符合中国古代戏曲的实际创作历程,既有原创性,又有经典性,对推动和促进中国古代戏曲研究做出了重大贡献,在中国戏曲学史上具有不可忽视的拓荒价值与非同寻常的垂范意义。Zheng Zhenduo was one of the literary historians who blazed a trail in the area of ancient drama studies in the 20th century. Although he did not focus on the drama history in his works,Mr. Zheng was the first to examine and compose a coarse-grained picture of the general history of drama. His accounts of drama history are mainly found in his works like Wen-xue Da-gang文学大纲(An Outline of Literature)and Cha-tu-ben Zhong-guo Wen-xue-shi插图本中国文学史(An Illustrated His-tory of Chinese Literature). In these two works,Zheng gives a rather comprehensive and in-depth ex-amination and account of the origin,formation,development,prosperity and decline of Chinese ancient dramas,thus presenting an outline of the evolution of drama in ancient China. His original and classical historical account is well in line with the development of drama creation in ancient China and has thus contributed tremendously to the studies on ancient Chinese dramas.
