摘　　要：马愉,字性和,号澹轩,明宣德二年状元。正统二年,升侍读学士。正统三年,与修《宣宗实录》成,升侍讲学士。正统五年,由杨士奇荐,入阁预机务。正统十年,升礼部右侍郎。有《澹轩文集》传世。今据马愉所存诗文,考证其与北方士人的文字往来,以见当日政坛精英之间关系的一个侧面,并为读者了解这些士人提供一点可资参考的资料。Ma Yu succeeds in the imperial examination in 1427, as the best on the list. In 1437, he is promoted to be the royal teaching assistant, and the next year, he becomes royal teacher. In 1440, out of recommendations of Yang Shiqi, Ma Yu becomes a cabinet member, and in 1445, he gets his promotion as an educational official. Throughout his 400 poems, he keeps mentioning officials of the north, which may confirm that Ma Yu is related to the officials.
