摘　　要：随着我国城市的高速发展,特别是经济发达地区的城市地名出现了严重的"先建设后命名"的迟滞现象,造成城市空间秩序混乱和居民生活不便,进而阻碍了社会发展。提出把地名规划作为城市规划的一个专项规划,以期达到构建良好的城市空间秩序、延续城市历史文脉的目标。通过对佛山市地名规划编制工作的阐述,论证了地名规划作为城市规划专项规划的可行性和必要性,以期为我国地名规划工作的规范化和标准化提供借鉴。With the rapid development in the cities, especially in the developed area, delaying and chaotic phenomenon of geographic naming appears, which hinders the social development. So, to make the toponymic planning as a special plan in the urban plan system is put forward, in order to achieve the goal： structure urban space order and continue urban history context. Through the state of Foshan Toponymic Planning’s work process, demonstrates the suggestion’s feasibility and necessity, and offers the standardization for toponymic planning in our country.
