摘　　要：运用文献法、比较法、调查分析法,通过追朔我国高等教育体育类专业设置的历史演进、比较教育部1998年版与2012年版《普通高等学校本科专业目录》的内涵变化、分析目前高校体育教育专业的办学状况,指出了体育教育专业设置与建设中存在的问题;阐明了实施2012年版《普通高等学校本科专业目录》背景下,体育教育专业改革与建设的应然状态.by using literature, comparison, investigation and analysis, by analyzing the history and development of physical education curriculums in higher institutions, by comparing the connotation changes of Major Directory of Higher Institutions For Undergraduate Programs issued by the ministry of education in 1998 edition and 2012 edition, the paper analyses the current situation of physical education in colleges and universities, points out the problems existing in the construction of major set-up, thus puts forward the should-be state of the reform and construction of physical education to implement the 2012 edition of Major Directory of Higher Institutions For Undergraduate Programs.
