语言潜势:意义识解与经验体现

摘　　要：Halliday提出的潜势系统与语言系统以及上下行运行框架已为系统功能语言学(SFL)研究广为借鉴,但由于尚未把这两个系统结合起来综论,而导致在理论和应用上对体现化的性质和规则逻辑阐释力不足。针对这些问题,在力图廓清系统与层级、潜势与现实、意义现实化与经验体现化、共时与历时之间关系的基础上,本研究把潜势与语言两个系统融为一体,构建一个使双系统、上下行运动功能互异,却目标一致可循环的意义识解与经验体现的网络机制——语言潜势系统。Potential system and linguistic system with their up/downward movement frameworks have been widely used in SFL ever since Halliday proposed them.However,for the lack of parallel studies of these two systems,the explanation of this concept at present can not fully account for how these two systems are related theoretically and practically,in terms of the logical illustration of realization of the corresponding regulations.After carefully examining the relations between systems and strata,potential and actual,actualization and realization synchronically and diachronically,this paper concludes that language potentials work as the main thread to weave and organize the two systems into Language Potential System(LPS),in which the up/downward movements with their diverse functions are coordinating to build up a recyclable network so as to construe meaning and realize human experience.
