摘　　要：蒲松龄是清代杰出的小说家、诗人,他创作的《聊斋志异》是中国古代文言短篇小说创作最高成就的代表;爱伦·坡是19世纪初美国的一位小说家、诗人,是美国短篇小说发展史上的奠基者。两位不同时期、不同国度的作家,在身世遭际与小说创作上都有着惊人的相似之处,两位作家生前皆落寞孤独,身后却名声远播。在小说创作领域,二人都表现出对神秘恐怖题材的偏嗜,且在表现手法上极其相似。Pu Song- ling is an outstanding novel writer and poet in Qing dynasty and a representative of highest achievement of Chinese short story; Allan Poe is an American novel writer and poet in the early nineteenth century. Though different times and areas they lived in,there are striking similarities in their novelette. This paper compared their life experiences,creative fields,mystery and terrified subject matters pegged from ghosts and spirits.
