现代汉语中虚假拒绝的语用功能分析

摘　　要：拒绝是人际交往中的常见现象,但并非所有的拒绝都是发自内心的真诚拒绝。虚假拒绝在汉文化中频繁出现,可以说是拒绝言语行为在中国文化背景中的一种特殊表现形式。为了了解邀请真诚与否,顺应汉文化的礼节和习惯,人们往往会在别人发出邀请时实施虚假拒绝。虚假拒绝具有隐藏真实意图、试探对方态度、促进人际关系和谐等语用功能。Refusal is a common phenomenon in human communication. However, not all the re-fusals are sincere. Ostensible refusal, which is a special form of refusal, frequently appears in the Chi-nese culture. In order to check whether an invitation is genuine or not, and to adapt to the Chinesemanners and customs, we usually perform the speech actOstensible refusals have such pragmatic functions as concof ostensible refusals when facing invitationealingthe real intention, probing the attitudeof the counterpart and promoting a harmonious human relationship.
