摘　　要：阿尔弗雷德·丁尼生在《国王的叙事诗》中塑造了四个主要女性角色。其中,吉娜薇王后这一角色多年来倍受争议。因此,丁尼生对她的真实态度也引起无数读者关注。实际上,诗人对吉娜薇王后的看法以及对所有女性的看法都是一致且相当独特的,他认为女人所扮演的角色决定了她的价值。换言之,牺牲自己,服务他人,就会令人敬仰;失职失责,便会遭人唾弃。Alfred Lord Tennyson was known for his four main female figures created in Idylls of the King. Among them,Queen Guinevere has aroused much debate among critics for many years. Therefore Tennyson＇s true attitude towards her has also attracted attention from numberless readers. Actually the poet＇s perspective of viewing Guinevere,in other words,all women,was consistent and quite unique： the role she plays determines the value she is estimated. That is to say,when she sacrifices to serve others,she is to be adored; when she fails her duty,she is to be scorned.
