摘　　要：由于规模效应，集装箱船大型化趋势明显，18000箱集装箱船已然成为市场的主力船型。结合当今市场上超大型集装箱船的设计特点，介绍了18500TEU级集装箱船的船型开发概况。It was an obvious trend that container ships would become larger and larger. 18 000 TEU container ships had become hotspot in the market. Based on the design feature of large container ship nowadays, the development of 18 500 TEU container ship design was introduced.
