摘　　要：刘易斯·托马斯是美国著名的科学散文作家,其科学散文蕴含着丰富且较为辩证的生态理念。托马斯突出强调自然万物共生的重大意义,力倡生态整体观,倡导培养生态伦理意识,但同时力倡人和自然的共存共荣;而且,他揭示了社会问题与环境问题的关联,倡导生态社会观和生态科技观。可以说,托马斯科学散文是绿色的散文佳作,辩证的生态意蕴是其获得成功的关键因素。不难看出,有了辩证生态观的武装,有文学才华的科学家可以创作出优秀的生态文学作品,科学技术可以促进生态文学繁荣,乃至整个生态文明建设。Lewis Thomas is a famous American science writer, and his science writing embodies abundant and somehow dialectical ecological ideas. By highlighting the significance of the symbiosis of natural beings, Thomas advocates ecological holism and the cultivation of the of ecological ethics; meanwhile, he urges the coexistence and common prosperity of both humarls and nature. Furthermore, by revealing the connection between social problems and environmental ones, Thomas advocates ecological social concepts and ecological views of science and technology. It can be argued that Thomas＇ s science writing is green works of excellent literary non-fiction, and that its dialectical ecological concepts are the key to its success. It is evident that, equipped with ecological views, scientists with literary talents can produce excellent ecological works, and science and technology can promote the prosperity of ecological literature and even the eco-civilization construction.
