摘　　要：森林可持续经营是国际森林问题的核心,也是应对气候变化等重大国际林业问题国际谈判的重要内容。全球环境基金是国际环境金融机构,提供有关气候变化、生物多样性、水资源保护等方面的资助,在实现全球森林可持续经营方面做出了重要贡献。文章概述了全球环境基金及其在中国的主要行动,在阐述全球森林变化趋势、森林退化与毁林以及森林可持续经营面临的挑战基础上,分析了全球环境基金的资金分配机制、在促进森林可持续经营方面的作用以及对森林可持续经营的发展战略、目标和行动计划。全面了解全球环境基金的森林可持续经营战略,对我国掌握国际森林问题方面的最新动态,积极参与国际谈判,推动我国森林可持续经营的进程提供借鉴。Sustainable Forest Management （SFM） is the main topic of international forest issues and an important content of international negotiations on major international forest issues in forestry and climate change. The Global Environment Fund is the international financial institutions which provide financial support on global climate change to developing countries cover field of biology diversity conservation, water resource protection. GEF has made great contribution to push forward sustainable forest management. General information of GEF and its actions in China; global forest trend, forest degradation and deforestation and the challenges of SFM are facing have been reviewed in this paper. GEF＇s Capital allocation mechanism, development strategy, goals and action plans in promoting SFM were analyzed. It will facilitated the understanding of GEF strategy on SFM, allow the researchers and scientists to follow the latest developments on international forest issues, put forward the process of China＇s SFM.
