摘　　要：本文在借鉴一些图书馆馆史的编纂经验与方法的基础上论述了图书馆馆史的编纂宗旨、编纂体例、编纂原则、编纂内容、编纂方法、编纂形式与编纂依据等。馆史的编纂宗旨是总结历史经验,启迪未来发展;编纂体例是纵横结合,纵述历史,横陈现状;编纂原则是据事直书、详近略远;编纂内容为文献资源建设、读者服务与技术发展;编纂方法则是综合归纳与比较分析;编纂形式要图文结合、图文并茂;编纂依据则是档案资料、文献记载与老照片等。This paper profits from some compiling experience and compiling methods of library history, discusses on the compiling objective ,compiling style, compiling principle, compiling content, compiling method, compiling form and compiling material of library history. The compiling objective of library history is summing up the historical experience and opening the future development. The compiling style is combining longitudinal direction and transverse direction. Longitudinal direction dis- cusses the history and transverse direction discusses the present situation. The compiling principle is directly writing accord- ing to the truth, the recent is more detail than the far. The compiling contents are the construction of literature resources and the service for readers and the development of technology. The compiling methods are synthetic generalization and compari- son analysis. The compiling form is combination of image and text. The compiling materials are archives, documents and old pictures.
