摘　　要：刘向是西汉中后期历仕宣、元、成帝三朝的宗室老臣,其鲜明的文风特征与其特殊的身份、特殊的人生际遇以及由此形成的特殊心态是息息相关的。刘向对历代皇室的感恩心态决定了其文字内涵的基调,即坚决维护皇权和坚决与威胁皇室利益者斗争;另外,刘向对国家及自身命运的双重忧虑感迫使他选择"以史为鉴"的表达方式。而他的谏书、校书和编书均显示出强烈的现实关怀。Liu Xiang is an imperial veteran who has served thro.ugh three emperors including Emperor Xuan, Yuan and Cheng in Xi Han Dynasty. His distinctive style feature is related to his special status, special life experience and the resulting special state of mind. Liu Xiang＇ s gratitude attitude towards the imperial family determines the dominating tone in his literary works, namely, firmly and resolutely safeguarding imperial power and opposing to any threat to royal interests. In addition, Liu Xiang＇ s dual worry about the country＇ s and his own fate leads to his approach of ＂taking history as a mirror＂ and all of his books show the strong concern for the contemperory age.
