摘　　要：专业分馆是大学图书馆系统建设的特色之一,专业分馆提供与学院各个专业关系最为紧密,紧跟学科前沿的书籍和期刊,为各专业的全体教师、研究生和广大本科生提供贴心、周到、便捷的服务。首先阐述了武汉理工大学图书馆的发展概况,其次,分析了大学图书馆实行专业分馆制度的必要性和重要性,以及大学图书馆系统中专业分馆的特点,同时,就专业分馆如何发挥其专业特色进行了较为深入的探讨。Professional branch library is one of the characteristics of the university library system, professional branch Library offers various professional books and journals for the professional faculty, graduate students and the majority of undergraduate students and provides caring, thoughtful and convenient services. This paper first describes the development situation of Wuhan University of Technology Library, followed by analysis of the necessity and importance of the professional branch library system and the characteristics of the professional branch library, at the same time, discusses how to play its professional features.
