摘 要:模态间性的研究是多模态语篇分析的子系统之一。本文基于认知负荷的心理学理论,以学术会议和课堂教学中英语多模态表达的样例为依据,探索模态间性的特征、多模态话语的再现和传播之间的联系过程。多模态符号之间的不同组合影响着多模态话语的准确表达,而多模态话语信息加工的效果又取决于认知负荷的盈亏。The study of intersemiotic relations is regarded as one of the subsystems in multimodal discourse analysis. Based on the psychological perspective of cognitive load theory and taking English academic presentations at academic conferences and in classroom as data,this paper first explores the features of intersemiotic relations and the linked shifts in representation and dissemination of multimodal presentations. Then it goes on discussing how intersemiotic combination affects the accuracy of expression in multimodal presentations. Finally,it explains the effect of visual and verbal information processing which is partly determined by the overload or underload of cognitive loads.
