摘　　要：甲午战争结束后,清政府向日本的巨额赔款对近代日本社会发展产生了何种作用,的确值得深思。就笔者管见,这种影响主要体现在两个方面:其一,这笔战争赔款的核算、支付、管理方式改变了战前日本的金融体制。其二,战争赔款也影响着日本民众的战争观,进而对日本的对外关系产生影响。The impact that was brought about by the huge war reparations from Qing government after the First Sino-Japanese War upon Japan＇ s modem development is worth our consideration. As far as I can see, the impact can be divided into two aspects. First, the way of the accounting, payment and management of the war reparations changed Japan＇ s financial system. Second, the war reparations influenced Japanese people＇ s conception of war, which in turn changed Japan＇s foreign relations in a long historical period of time.
